Frequently asked questions.

What are your hours/when do you see clients?
I currently have availability throughout the week - mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I do not see clients on the weekends. Availability is subject to change.
Do you accept insurance? What are your self pay rates?
I accept United Healthcare, UHC, Optum, Connecticare, Oxford, and Aetna insurance plans. If I do not take your insurance, I can provide a superbill to submit your insurance company to use out of network (OON) benefits (if you have them). Please call or email to discuss self pay rates.
Do you offer telehealth/telemedicine?
Yes. I am licensed in Connecticut to see clients in person and/or via telehealth. I am licensed in Florida to provide services to clients via telehealth only.
What should I expect from therapy?
Therapy is an individualized process and I curate the work we do to your specific needs. However, some common things people will experience are connection, understanding, personal change, and management of mental health symptoms and stress.
How long will therapy last?
This is also dependent on many factors - including your presenting concerns, and unfortunately is dictated at times by insurance coverage. A plan will be made within our first two sessions - and this will be continuously reviewed so there are no surprises and we can work collaboratively together.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from both my Undergraduate and Graduate programs from the University of Connecticut (GO HUSKIES!) and hold a Masters in Social Work degree (MSW). I received my License in Social Work in 2014, and my License in Clinical Social Work in 2015. Although I may not return to “formal” schooling, I am continuously learning and have Level 1 certification from the IFS Institute and will complete my training to become a licensed perinatal mental health practitioner in June 2024.
